A Comprehensive Intervention to Transform a Frequently Failing Machine into Reliable and Optimized Equipment
As part of a major project in the agro-food sector, we carried out a complete revamping of the control cabinet for a bagging machine. Through an in-depth reverse engineering process, we were able to decipher the previous programming of the controller before replacing it with a reliable model that meets current requirements.
This project required a thorough understanding of the machine’s operation in order to optimally program the new PLC and integrate additional functions. Additionally, we completely redesigned the cabinet, custom-built in our workshop, to ensure enhanced reliability and safety of the installation.
By sharing all plans and backup codes with our client, we have significantly reduced downtime in the event of a failure, thereby ensuring optimal production continuity. This success is based on the synergy of several of our competencies: engineering to understand the machine, automation for PLC programming, industrial electricity for custom cabinet fabrication, drafting for updating the plans, and on-site intervention for rigorous project monitoring.
